Clean lines, updated materials and a functional floor plan make this an ideal kitchen for a busy family who loves to cook and spend quality time together. A warm palette was used with a combination of stained maple cabinetry, granite slab countertops, glass and stone backsplash, and a custom upholstered banquette seating area. More usable countertop space and adding an island was the main priority. The cook top wall was pushed back 12” into the living room and a large bay window was added at the sink, it is hard to believe it is the same space!
